Walk-a-Thon 2026

Fort Myers Christian School will be hosting our 4th Annual Walk-a-Thon event on May 1, 2026. This event is a celebration and culmination of six weeks of fundraising for our school where students reach out to family, neighbors and friends to help raise money for our amazing school.

The funds raised this year will go toward our effort to increase safety and security by replacing exterior doors across the entire FMCS campus. The cost of these campus improvements falls outside of our annual operating budget, so raising money for projects like these helps us keep tuition increases as low as possible.

Our theme for this year’s Walk-a-Thon is UNSHAKEABLE. Taken from Hebrews, chapter 12, this theme challenges us to follow Jesus no matter what obstacles or hardships come our way, because though we may face uncertainty at times, God and his kingdom are solid.

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” Hebrews 12:28, NIV

Your student will have the opportunity to earn up to 5 T-shirts with our Walk-a-Thon 2025 theme for each $50 raised. These shirts can be worn in place of their uniform shirt from now until the end of the school year and on Fridays next school year.

More prizes: The first 100 pages that raise any amount of money will receive a pompom. If you raise $300 by April 14, you will also earn a long-sleeve performance shirt. The top individual fundraiser will receive a giant lion stuffy. Finally, to see which classroom can raise the most funds, our pizza party contest is back. This year it will happen on Walk-a-thon day and include team members from FC Naples.

We will also draw for gift cards at weekly chapels from those who raised money each week, so start fundraising early and keep asking throughout the campaign to get the best shot of winning cool prizes.
